Black Stars defender, Abdul Mumin, says his prioritised playing a role in Rayo Vallecano achieving their targets for the 2022/23 season after completing his move.
Mumin penned a four-year deal with the Spanish club on deadline day after bringing an end to his stay with Portuguese side, Vitoria SC, this summer.
The central defender was key for Vitoria en route to finishing in the top half of the season but will now have to turn attention to helping Vallecano replicate the same feat.
Speaking after completing his transfer, the player outlined his targets for the season.
“I hope I can and I will do my best to help the club achieve its objectives and reach its goals and that I can develop and reach my potential,” he said.
“The most important thing is to help the club achieve their objectives.”
Mumin’s debut could come as early as Saturday, September 10, when Vallecano host Valencia in the LaLiga.
