Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association, Samuel Anim Addo has assured that the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League will kick off on Saturday, September 16.
There were reports that Ashantigold have placed an injunction on the Ghana Premier League, therefore football cannot be played until the case is finalized in court.
Reacting to this, Samuel Anim Addo said the league will start on the day the GFA announced so the public should be ready for the new season.
“If anything happens we will communicate it but there is nothing now what we planned is still ongoing nothing has changed.”
“I haven’t seen any injunction that is why I said if there is anything the secretariat will communicate it,” he said on Peace FM.
