Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams has underscored the pressure and expectations that come with representing the club, stating that no match is ever easy for the Phobians.

Ahead of their highly anticipated Ghana Premier League Super Clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko, Adams expressed the team’s focus and determination to secure a positive outcome.

“There is nothing like an easy match when you play for Hearts of Oak,” Adams said. “Every match is like a final for us. We are prepared for Kotoko.”

The 24-year-old, who has been a key figure in the Hearts midfield this season, also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the club’s loyal supporters.

“I’m grateful to the fans,” Adams added. “They should continue supporting us.”

Hearts of Oak are currently 6th in the league standings with 19 points, while Kotoko are just behind in 7th place with 18 points. The Super Clash is scheduled for December 15, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
