Former Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah was in disbelief to see Kpando Heart of Lions goal disallowed wrongly over the weekend.
The Lions roared at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi against Asante Kotoko SC but the assistant referee flagged for offside which the emerging video has surprised the FIFA U20 World Cup winner.
According to him, the call by the assistant referee to disallow the goal was very deliberate as the Player was nowhere near offside.
“This was deliberate,” Former Ghana star Jonathan Mensah in an early post before later adding it was a bad call.
Kpando Hearts of Lions scored a perfect goal which was disallowed wrongly by the officials of the game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
The Lions almost stole all three points against the Toothless Porcupines at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday evening.
The new Boys got their perfect goal disallowed by the assistant referee who flagged for offside to rule the goal out.
