Former Black Stars and U-20 forward, Adu Tutu Skelley says Arsenal Star Thomas Partey was a big flop during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
According to the former Ghana star, the Arsenal player showed glimpses of of brilliance at the tournament but was in general a big flop at the tournament.
He started that the Arsenal man can be phenomenal sometimes but was not up to it for Ghana at the 33rd CAF Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon which was won by Senegal.
“Partey exhibits brilliance and can be phenomenal sometimes but at the last AFCON he was a big flop” he told Starr FM.
Partey picked one assist in three matches at the tournament and failed to replicate his club form at the AFCON
Ghana could not make it out of the group stages of the competition after suffering a shocking and humiliating defeat to minors Comoros.
