Medeama SC, Karela FC and Nzema Kotoko will compete in this year’s Dr Kwame Nkrumah’s birthday cup.
The games which will take place on September 19 at Nkroful is being organized by Nkroful Event Management Committee to honor the first president of Ghana.
According to reports reaching sportsworldghama.com, the three invited clubs have all agreed to play the game as they seek to eulogize one of Africa’s greatest leaders.
The first edition of the Dr. Nkrumah Cup was played in 2015 between Nzema Kotoko and Medeama SC which saw the second-tier club winning by a lone goal to nothing. Karela United also beat Nzema Kotoko to win the second edition in 2016.
