Ghanaian forward Herbert Ansah has secured a spot in the Primavera1 team of the week in the Italian youth league.
Ansah’s fine display as the man of the match ensured Torino recorded a 3-2 victory over Empoli last Sunday.
The Ghanaian youngster was introduced in the 46th minute, Ansah and made instant impact by scoring a brace, helping Torino overturn Empoli’s two-goal lead to cement their position in second place on the league table.
The 18-year-old striker bagged his seventh goal of the season in the 66th minute with a tap-in, courtesy of teammate Ali Dembele’s cross across the face of the goal.
In the 95th-minute, Ansah scored to dash the hope of Empoli fans. He scored betted so eights goals this season in the Italian Primavera.
