English Premier League giant Manchester United have made a bid worth €45m (£38.5m) for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The move for Onana is being driven by United manager Erik ten Hag, who managed the Cameroon international during his days at Dutch giant AFC Ajax Amsterdam.
United are in the transfer market for a new goalkeeper following the expiration of goalkeeper David De Gea’s contract at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Reports in Italy suggests Inter Milan wants €60m to sell the shot stopper to United this summer as teams prepare for the 2023-24 campaign which starts early August.
He could be United’s second signing of the season after snatching Mason Mount from direct competitors, Chelsea FC.
