The Netherlands forward Memphis Depay and Atlético Madrid are set to part ways after the Dutch striker joined Atletico Madrid 16 months ago.
Atletico Madrid paid €4 million from Barcelona in the January 2023 transfer window for the talented attacker’s signature.
The former Olympique Lyon captain signed a 2-and-a-half-year contract with the Madrid-based club but has agreed to cut short his contract and leave as a free agent.
The 30-year-old forward has played 31 games and scored 9 goals for Diego Simeone’s side.
The Dutch-born forward is set to make Ronald Koeman’s final 26-man squad for the UEFA Euro 2024 set to be played in June and July 2024 in Germany.
Memphis Depay will not be short of offers from many clubs because he is still on top of his game, albeit no team has shown interest in him yet.
