Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are poised for a potential showdown as they vie for the signing of Yussif Nurudeen Mohammad, the departing center back from Real Tamale United, according to Mohammed Shaban.
Kotoko was in advanced negotiations with the player’s representative, possibly facing competition from Hearts of Oak.
However, Hearts of Oak has recently expressed a strong interest in the player. The club has reached out to Nurudeen’s camp, expressing their desire to acquire the services of the experienced defender.
Nurudeen has decided not to extend his contract with the Tamale-based team, as his current deal expired at the end of the 2022-2023 season.
Having played a pivotal role in Real Tamale United’s battle against relegation, Mohammad has now made the decision to conclude his tenure in Tamale.
