Galatasaray, the reigning Turkish champions, are reportedly on the verge of a significant defensive reinforcement.
Recent reports indicate that the club is nearing a deal to secure Hannover’s left-back, Derrick Köhn, on loan until the season’s end.
Sources suggest that Galatasaray is aiming to finalize the agreement within the week, offering Köhn an enticing loan fee of 400,000 euros.
But the Turkish giants aren’t stopping there. They also intend to include a subsequent purchase option in the deal, setting the fee at a substantial two million euros.
Despite the closure of the winter transfer window in most European leagues, Galatasaray remains active in the market, leveraging the extended window for Turkish clubs.
With negotiations progressing, all eyes are on the imminent move that could see Derrick Köhn donning the Galatasaray jersey for the remainder of the season.
It’s worth noting that Köhn’s contract with Hannover 96 runs until 2025.
