CFR Cluj’s emerging talent, Emmanuel Yeboah, is potentially on the verge of departing the club during this summer transfer window, as offers from potential suitors continue to pour in. The latest addition to this list is Turkish side Adana Demirspor.
Having joined CFR Cluj’s second team in March 2022, the 20-year-old Ghanaian swiftly ascended to the senior squad due to a shortage of strikers in the first team. His rapid rise was marked by impressive performances.
Yeboah’s notable displays have captured the attention of Adana Demirspor officials, who encountered him in the Europa Conference League qualifying round earlier this month.
Nelutu Varga, the president of CFR Cluj, disclosed that the Turkish club has presented an offer for the young footballer. Varga stated; “After the match, I stayed at the table with the boss, with the head coach of Adana, who made me an offer of 10.5 million euros for Bîrligea and Yeboah as a package. We will give the answer next week.
“They are two fantastic players, who played some extraordinary games, very young. The amount is a fair amount in my opinion.
“I didn’t give an answer. I have to think. We now want to make a strong team, but by next week we will decide if we give them both for this amount of 10.5 million euros. The CFR has a lot of interesting players.”
Earlier this year, CFR Cluj had reached an agreement with Slavia Prague for a transfer fee of nearly €2.5 million. However, the deal collapsed due to contractual terms and medical concerns raised by Slavia Prague.
