Turkish giants Besiktas have terminated the contract of the 21-year-old Turkish midfielder Emirhan Delibas with immediate effect.
Besiktas has discovered that the youngster has a different age on a dating site which states that he is 24.
Besiktas released a statement stating the cancellation of Delibas’ contract.
“We have parted ways with professional football player Emirhan Delibas by mutual agreement. We wish him success in his future career,” the statement read.
The Besiktas midfielders profile on Bumble reads: Delibas is a “Professional Football Player at Besiktas JK,” seeking “something casual.” Delibas stands at 183 cm tall and has an interest in football, horror movies, rock music, winter sports, and dogs.
“Besiktas is a responsibility for me. Your love has been my greatest motivation,” said Emirhan Delibas. The young midfielder thanked Besiktas for the care they have shown to him.
