Ahead of the upcoming U-23 AFCON match against Morocco on Tuesday, Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko expressed his anticipation for a good game.
Ghana on Sunday recorded a 3-2 win over Congo in their Group A opener at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat while Morocco on Saturday beat Guinea 2-1 in the tournament opener.
During a pre-match press conference, Tanko highlighted the limited time available for preparation and the focus on player regeneration to ensure their fitness for the match.
“We have only today to prepare and we cannot do too much, we have to do the regeneration so that they will be fit tomorrow,” Tanko stated.
With both teams winning their first matches, Tanko expressed optimism about the upcoming game, expecting it to be a highly competitive and exciting encounter.
“We are looking forward to this game and both teams have won their first match, and I am sure that it’s going to be a very good game tomorrow,” Tanko added.
The much-anticipated game has been scheduled to kick off at 20:00GMT.
