Ghana’s U-23 head coach Ibrahim Tanko has handed SC Paderborn striker Benard Tekpetey and in-form Kwabena Owusu in his starting XI to face Gabon later this afternoon for the second leg tie of the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Tekpetey who climed off the bench to score Ghana’s second goal in the game starts today in the absence of striker Benjamin Tetteh.
Ghana will be approaching the game with a 4-0 win advantage in the first leg played at the Accra Sports Stadium last Saturday.
Goalkeeper Kwame Baah maintains in the goal posts while Kingsley Fobi who failed to excel in the first leg and Gideon Mensah will be operating from the right-back and left-back positions respectively.
Zakaria Fuseini will partner Musah Nuhu at the central defense.
Captain Yaw Yeboah and Simon Zibo will command the midfield whiles Joseph Paintsil and Osmanu Bukari operate from the flanks.
The match kicks off at exactly 14:30 local time.
