Dutch-born striker of Ghanaian descent, Brian Brobbey grabbed a late goal for Ajax as they defeated Young Boys from Switzerland 3-0 in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday night at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Ajax welcomed the Swiss Super League side to the Johan Cruijff Arena for the first leg of the Round 16 tie of the European competition.
Despite Brobbey coming on late in the 83rd minute to replace David Neres, he managed to find his name on the scoresheet after 90-1 in the game.
Davy Klaassen and Dusan Tadic scored respectively to give Ajax a 2-0 lead before Brobbey added one to seal an emphatic 3-0 first-leg victory for the Dutch giants.
Brobbey has so far scored two goals in three appearances in the Uefa Europa League this season for Ajax.
