The UEFA Super Cup has come around again and this time it will be contested by Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The match kicks off 19 : 00 GMT this evening.

The Spanish side qualified as the winners of the 2021/22 Champions league having beaten Liverpool at the Stade de France in Paris earlier this year.

Eintracht booked their place by beating Rangers in the Europa League final at Sevilla’s Stadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. The game ended 1-1 but the Bundesliga side won 5-4 on penalties.

This match will be the first time since the 1960 European Cup final that the two sides have faced each other competitively. Real Madrid won that game 7-3 at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

The game is taking place at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium in Finland. It is the first time that a UEFA club competition final has been held in Finland.

It has already been reported that Carlo Ancelotti will not be starting the likes of Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni who joined the club this summer as he wants the players who won the tournament to contend the final.

As for the German side, they are set to travel without Filip Kostic who is very close to a move to Italian side Juventus.

Real Madrid vs Eintracht Frankfurt predicted line-ups
Real Madrid predicted line-up: GK Thibaut Courtois; Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Benjamin Mendy; Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric; Fede Valverde, Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior.

Eintracht Frankfurt predicted line-up:

GK Kevin Trapp; Almany Toure, Tuta, Evan N’Dicka; Ansgar Knauff, Moussa Sow, Sebastian Rode, Christopher Lenz; Daichi Kamada, Mario Gotze, Rafael Borre.
