Olivia Anokye shined in Apollon Ladies FC’s dominant 9-0 victory over North Macedonian side Ljuboten during the UEFA Women’s Champions League preliminary stage.
Anokye was a key contributor to her team’s success, notching two goals and providing an assist.
She opened the scoring with a goal in the 29th minute, extending her team’s lead to three-nil. In the 45th minute, Anokye turned provider, assisting in the creation of the fifth goal.
Anokye continued her impressive performance after the break, netting her second goal just four minutes into the second half.
Her fellow Ghanaian internationals, Elizabeth Oppong, made a 21-minute appearance on the pitch, while Elshaadai Acheampong was among the substitutes.
