Black Queens winger, Doris Boaduwaa made an impressive debut for Spartak Subotica in their UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers, contributing to their significant victory.
Boaduwaa, who joined the club from Ghana Women’s Premier League side Hasaacas Ladies during the summer, was included in the starting lineup for the match against Klaksvikar Itrottarfelag of the Faroe Islands.
Boaduwaa quickly adapted to her new team, scoring the third goal of the game after Violeta Slovic and Kamile Martins had already found the net for the Serbian side. Spartak held a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime and displayed even more dominance in the second half.
Tijana Filipovic, Makenzie Ann Langdok, and Zivana Stupar scored within the first 22 minutes of the second half, extending the lead to 6-0. Boaduwaa’s debut performance was well-received, and she was substituted in the 63rd minute, with Milica Gakovic taking her place.
Spartak Subotica ultimately secured a 7-0 victory, allowing them to progress to the next round of the qualifiers.
