Ayew’s contract with the Marines is a one year deal that is set to expire on June 30, 2024 and the deal marks a return to the French top flight after eight seasons for the former Olympique Marseille player.

Prior to joining Le Havre, Ayew had been a free agent since the conclusion of the 2022-2023 season that had him suit up for Al-Saad in the Qatari League and Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League.

He has played for West Ham United and Swansea City in the EPL in his career.

Speaking to the club’s official media channel on X formerly Twitter) after joining the team, Ayew said he was happy to be a Le Havre player.

“Thank You all for your welcome. I am very happy to be with Le Havre the Marines” he said after the deal was confirmed.
