Ghanaian international Augustine Okrah showcased his brilliance on Monday, contributing a goal and an assist to Young Africans’ commanding 5-0 victory over Ihefu SC in the Tanzanian Premier League.
Despite initially starting on the bench, Okrah made a significant impact after being brought on in the second half to bolster Young Africans’ attacking prowess.
In the 83rd minute, Okrah demonstrated his quality with a sublime strike to equalize and extend his team’s lead to 4-0. Just moments later, he provided an assist for Maxi Mpia Nzengeli to seal the victory with the fifth goal.
Prior to Okrah’s heroics, Peodoh Pacome Zouzoua, Mudathir Yahya, and Stephane Aziz Ki had already found the back of the net for Young Africans, giving them a comfortable lead over Ihefu SC.
With this emphatic win, Young Africans secured three valuable points, maintaining their position at the top of the Tanzanian Ligu Kuu Bara standings.
