On Monday afternoon, Bernard Mensah, the Ghanaian midfielder, shone for Kayserispor, scoring a vital goal to help his team beat Umraniyespor 3-2 in the Turkish Super Lig.
The hosts took the lead through Mame Baba Thiam’s penalty in the 31st minute, but Mehmet Umut Nayir equalized for the visitors two minutes into first-half stoppage time.
In the 53rd minute, Mensah put Kayserispor ahead with his fifth goal of the season in 21 matches, in addition to his two assists in the campaign.
