The Ghana Football Association on Tuesday, August first have paid a telling tribute to deceased Ghanaian forward Junior Agogo.
The former Ghana star gave Ghanaians so much memories and something to cheer about during the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ghana.
He became fans favourite after scoring a famous goal against the Super Eagles of Nigeria during the tournament.
“Forever in our hearts Happy birthday, Junior Agogo. Thank you for all the memories”, the GFA Tweeted.



Manuel “Junior” Agogo (1 August 1979 – 22 August 2019) was a Ghanaian professional footballer who played as a striker. He was born in Ghana but spent most of his childhood in the UK.
He would have been 40 years this year.
