Ghana’s U23 -Black Meteors Head Coach Ibrahim Tanko, has opened up on his side’s clash with Algeria U23 in the CAF U23 Championship qualifying first leg match on Friday, March 24, 2023.
Tanko is optimistic that the Ghanaian team would pick a good result in Algeria before they return home to finish Business with the Algeria team.
The return encounter will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi with the winner set to book a place in the 2023 CAF U23 Championship which will be staged in Morocco in June.
The delegation made up of 25 players, technical staff and officials departed Accra on Tuesday evening and touched down in Annaba at 4am on Wednesday.
The team will have an official training session at the 19 May 1956 Stadium later on Wednesday evening ahead of the game.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 9pm.
