The English-born Ghanaian striker was the architect of Leyton Orient’s 3-0 victory over Blackpool, delivering two assists that led his side to a commanding win in their League One clash at the Gaughan Group Stadium.
Agyei first set up Sonny Perkins in the 34th minute, with a well-placed cross that Perkins slotted into the bottom right corner.
Leyton Orient extended their lead in the 72nd minute when Agyei’s quick break allowed him to feed Charlie Kelman, who blasted a right-footed shot into the top of the net. Four minutes later, Tom James sealed the game with a low strike to secure all three points.
Though Blackpool enjoyed the majority of possession, Leyton Orient’s clinical finishing made the difference. Agyei’s influence was pivotal, adding to his season tally of three assists in 14 appearances.
This emphatic win boosts Leyton Orient’s standing as they prepare for their upcoming EFL Trophy match against Milton Keynes Dons on November 12.
