English-born Ghanaian forward Gideon Kodua continued his impressive season with Luton Town after scoring his eighth goal of the campaign in a hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory over Stevenage FC in the English League One on Saturday.
After a goalless first half at Kenilworth Road, the visitors broke the deadlock shortly after the restart.
Stevenage took the lead in the early stages of the second half, momentarily silencing the home crowd and putting Luton under pressure in what was shaping up to be a difficult afternoon.
Luton, however, responded with character and intensity. Midfielder Jordan Clark, who had endured a frustrating first half after missing a penalty, made amends in the 55th minute by drawing the Hatters level with a well-taken equaliser.
His goal restored belief in the home side and shifted the momentum firmly in their favour.
The decisive moment arrived in the 64th minute when Kodua showcased his attacking instincts and composure.
The 21-year-old forward latched onto a well-weighted pass from experienced striker Nahki Wells and finished brilliantly to complete the comeback for Luton.
The promising Ghanaian, on loan from West Ham, has now registered nine goals in 22 appearances across competitions, a return that highlights his consistency and development at League One level.
