Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew notched his second goal of the season for Crystal Palace in their encounter against Brighton and Hove Albion on Thursday night.
Ayew broke the deadlock for the Eagles with an impressive header, capitalizing on Michael Olise’s well-delivered cross into Brighton’s box just before halftime.
In the second half, Danny Welbeck, an English international of Ghanaian descent, equalized for Brighton in the 82nd minute, resulting in a draw.
The 32-year-old Ayew has contributed two goals and three assists in 17 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace in the current season.
