Mohammed Kudus, the Ghanaian talent, was visibly discontented during Ajax’s team presentation and the opening day event leading up to the 2023/24 season at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Tuesday afternoon.

His frustration is evident as his desired departure from the Dutch powerhouse, Ajax, is yet to materialize.

Kudus is actively exploring potential exits from Ajax and is keeping all options open. It’s understood that Brighton & Hove Albion remains interested in the Right to Dream Academy graduate, particularly as offers for Moises Caicedo have been received from Chelsea.

However, an agreement on personal terms between Brighton and the Ghanaian midfielder has not yet been reached.

Throughout this summer, Kudus has been in the spotlight, attracting attention from both Chelsea and Arsenal, who have expressed their interest in the highly-regarded 23-year-old player.

In an interesting development on Monday, August 7th, 2023, reports emerged stating that Ajax had imposed a 48-hour ultimatum on the Ghanaian star to finalize personal terms with Brighton and expedite the completion of the deal.

Despite the ultimatum set by Ajax, Kudus has not responded positively to Brighton’s overtures thus far, indicating a lack of interest in a move to the Premier League side.

On Tuesday, SportsworldGhana.com reported that the player and his representatives are eagerly anticipating a concrete offer from the German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

As the transfer window draws closer to its closure in August, it remains to be seen whether Brighton can successfully secure the signature of the Black Stars’ attacking midfielder.
