Osman Bukari came off the bench to salvage a point for the Black Stars in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola on Monday, March 27.
Ghana rallied back from a goal down to draw 1-1 against the South African country to move top of Group E with eight points.
Angola were the better team in the opening exchanges and nearly took the lead in under one minute with a good effort from the left side of the attack.
In the second half of the match, Angola remained the better team and was rewarded for their effort when they were awarded a spot-kick.
Reading FC forward, Joao Lucas converted the spot kick to give the Red and Blacks outfit a deserving lead.
Ghana’s coach, Chris Hughton made substitutions which had a straightforward impact on the team as Ghana began taking control of the game.
Joseph Paintsil set up Osman Bukari to score the equalizer for Ghana 18 minutes to the end of the match as it ended 1 – 1 at full time.
