Brighton right-back Tariq Lamptey announced his switch to Ghana in a short and passionate video.
Lamptey was born in England and went through the country’s youth setup. He was expected to be one of their stars in the future.
However, Lamptey has made a switch to the nation of his parents and is expected to play a part in September as he has been named in the squad ahead of the fixtures against Brazil and Nicaragua.
