Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored the opening goal of the game in Ghana’s friendly against Egypt on Thursday afternoon.
The friendly is part of the Black Meteors’ preparations ahead of the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Morocco later this month.
The FC Zurich forward stepped up to convert a penalty after Abdul Fatawu Issahaku made a solo run before being fouled in the penalty box to win a penalty for Ghana.
Barnieh made no mistake from the spot and gave the Black Meteors the opener before the home side got the equaliser just before the halftime break.
