Ghana exited the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup last night following their 4-1 loss to the Netherlands in their final group game.
The result sees Ghana miss out a place in the knockout stage for the sixth consecutive time having failed in all previous five attempts.
However, Doris Boaduwaa ensured the Black Princesses did not have a repeat of an unwanted record as she scored Ghana’s only goal at the 2022 edition of the global showpiece.
Her goal in the game against the Netherlands means Ghana have scored in all but just one edition of the U-20 Women’s World Cup.
