Ghanaian-born American attacker, Emmanuel Afriyie Sabbi was on target for his French side Le Havre in the Ligue one.
Lens took on Le Havre at the Stade Bollart-Delelis in the 28th week fixture of the French topflight. Emmanuel Sabbi, the talented attacker scored a penalty in the 78th minute of the game to cancel Polish midfielder’s Frankowski goals for Lens in the 58th minutes of the game.
The pulsating game saw Ghanaian captain Andre Dede Ayew leading the attack for Le Havre but was substituted in the 74th minute of the game. Black Stars midfielder, Abdul Samed Salis was on the starting line-up for the Lens as the game finished in a 1-1 drawn game.
The results put Lens in the 5th position with 43 points whiles Le Havre drop to 14th spot on the log. The Ghanaian born American player signed for Le Havre in 2023 after leaving Danish side Odense BK.
