With little expected from the Ghanaian side, Dreams FC became a force to reckon when they topped group C alongside Rivers United, Club Africain and Academica from Angola.

With twenty minutes to time, Slvester Simba ensured qualification to the semifinals when he slotted home from close range.
Egyptian giants Zamalek also secured their semifinals spot when they defeated their Cairo rivals 3-2 on aggregate. The first leg of the highly anticipated clash will be played in Egypt on the 21st of April with the second leg a week later at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Zamalek have won 5 five Champions league and one CAF Confederation Cup. The Egyptians will be huge favorites for the semi finals with their huge worth of experience in Africa. Dreams FC will also be hoping to achieve the ultimate with the under-dog tag with a blend of young and experienced players.
