Ghanaian defender Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu netted his first goal of the season in the English League One on Saturday afternoon on the road for Fleetwood Town FC.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian Center-back got his team a point away from home in their season opener draw at Carlisle United FC with his equalizer for the Red and Whites outfit.
Owen Moxon on the 36th minute mark put the hosts 1-0 up with a nice goal to send home fans into wild jubilation after he found the back of the net for the home team.
Sarpong Wiredu found the bottom left corner of the goal with a right footed strike from the right side of the box to restore parity before the half time.
The game ended 1-1 at the end of the pulsating clash.
