Ghanaian forward John Yeboah scored his ninth and tenth goal of the season for Slask Wroclaw in the Polish Top-flight league
The former WFL Wolfsburg player was on target twice against Miedz Legnica as his goals took his team out of the relegation zone temporarily with a game to end the season.
He played full throttle for his team as they won 4-2 in their quest to beat the drop zone to retain top-flight status at the end of the season.
Petr Schwarz got the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up seven minutes away from the half time whistle with a close range finish.
Five minutes tops end the opening 45 minutes of the encounter, Yeboah scored a brilliant solo goal to give the home team a healthy 2-0 lead before the interval.
The visitors got one back in the second half after 52 minutes through Andrzej Niewuliz but Matias Nahuel Leiva restored the two goals lead four minutes later.
Yeboah grabbed his second goal of the match and his team’s fourth after 74 minutes with an instinctive strike to make it 4-1 but Koldo Obieta scored another consolation to make it 4-2 at full time.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward has ten goals and one assist in 31 matches this season in the Poland Top-flight.
