Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC center back Andrews Kojo Appau scored his first goal of the season in the Reds away win at the Akoon Park in the week 31 clash at Tarkwa.

 

 

 

 

 

The Kotoko defender scored in the first half for the Porcupine Warriors in their emphatic and comfortable victory over second placed Medeama SC.

 

 

 

 

He rose highest in the box to power home the opening goal of the match on Sunday afternoon after a beautiful corner kick from Ibrahim Imoro to break the hearts of many Medeama supporters.

 

 

 

 

 

Kotoko scored a second goal through Cameroonian import, Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga in the closing stages of the first 45 minutes of the end-to-end and pulsating match.

 

 

 

 

Appau played the full 90 minutes of the match and helped his team to secure a vital win on the and kept a clean sheet at the heart of the defense for the Reds.

 

 

 

 

 

The 20-year-old has one goal goal this campaign in the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season as Kotoko inches closer to lifting the title since 2013 – 14 season.
