West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), Coach Banabas Awuni has disclosed opened up on his side’s first home win in the 2022/23 Access Bank Division One League.
Speaking to the portal, Coach BB as affectionately called by his industry mates, said the Academy boys prepared very well for the game, leading to the victory.
“We prepared very well mentally for this game because of what happened in our last home game,” He told Sportsworldghana.com exclusively after the game.
”Even though we could have won by more than 1 goal with the chances we created, I am happy with the way we controlled the game and the most important thing is the first home win.” He added,
This is the WAFA’s second win in the ongoing season after drawing their first and also losing their second game.
