Laryea Kingston’s wonderful Black Starlets continued their recent impressive performances with a 2-0 win over Benin.
Ghana’s U17 side has been so great under the leadership of former Black Stars winger Laryea Kingston. In matchday 1, they thrashed Ivory Coast 5-1 to take a commanding lead in the group and on Tuesday afternoon secured their second win in the tournament after beating Benin 2-0.
First-half goals from Mark Kagawa Mensah and Theophilus Ayamga put the Black Starlets in cruise control of the game.
Ghana played a wonderful game with their incredible passing ability being applauded by everyone.
The Black Starlets has secured a place in the semi-finals and has set sights on booking a ticket to the finals.
