UK-based Ghanaian boxer, Freezy Macbones was given a warm welcome on his return to Kumasi for the first time in over a decade.

Born Seth Gyimah in the Ashanti Regional capital Kumasi, Freezy Macbones returned to his root to connect with his people before leaving for the Olympic Games qualifiers in Dekar, Senegal.

Freezy Macbones stood before the mud house where he used to stay at a reminder to his humble beginnings.

The boxer’s visit to Kumasi was the first since he left the country to the UK 11 years ago to chase his dream.
