Gold Stars’ head coach, Michael Osei, is determined to bounce back with a victory in their second match of the BetPawa Premier League.
Gold Stars suffered a 2-0 defeat in their opening game against Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park last weekend.
In their upcoming match on Saturday, September 23, Gold Stars will host Asante Kotoko at the Dun’s Park in week 2.
Michael Osei expressed his team’s determination, saying, “We are aiming to beat Kotoko to boost our season after defeat in our first game of the season“
He continued, “We lost to Chelsea, so at all cost, we need to get the whole three points at home against Kotoko and I believe in the team that we can make it.”
This upcoming fixture holds special significance for Michael Osei, as he will be facing a team he once played for during his playing career and also coached after retiring from the game.
Bibiani Goldstars have already announced the gate fees for the highly anticipated clash against Kotoko. Fans attending the match will be required to pay GHC60 for VIP tickets and GHC30 for Popular Stand tickets.
