The founder of newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Apostles, Peter Oppong Domfeh, has announced a radical transfer policy that prohibits players with children from joining the club.
During an interview on Light 94.9 FM in Kumasi, Domfeh revealed that the club will no longer consider signing players who have children, citing the need for maximum focus and determination from its players.
‘No room for Born Two players. If you are a player and have two kids, we won’t sign you”
“We are investing huge monies into the club and we aren’t ready to work with players with children” – Peter Oppong Domfeh(Owura Domfeh) told Light FM.
The policy has sparked controversy, with critics arguing that it may lead to discrimination against players with families, limiting their opportunities in their careers.
