Ghana coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor says he will need the services of some experienced players at Black Stars to help him in ‘decisive’ games.
The former Ghana captain has been in charge of the Black Stars for over a year and is on the verge of qualifying the country for the 2021 Africa up of Nations [Afcon].
In total, Akonnor has played four matches, losing two and winning two.

According to the gaffer, he will continue to rely on ace players such as the Ayew brothers Andre and Jordan, Kwadwo Asamoah and Christian Atsu.
“We can’t do without them yet, we need their experience in the decisive games,” Akonnor told DW TV.
Akonnor and his charges are currently preparing for the final round of the games of the Afcon qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome later this month.

A point in the two games will qualify the four-time African champions to the next AFCON which will be staged in Cameroon.
Ghana will play South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe on March 25 and 28 respectively.
