Member of the executive committee of the Ghana Football Association, Frederick Acheampong says he did not see what they were made to believe with regards to Otto Addo.

He says some of them did not see what they were told about Otto Addo and believes whatever they heard about him did not manifested.

Ghana came last in Group H at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar after suffering defeats to Portugal and Uruguay and beating only South Korea.

According to him, they were made to believe that he was the right option to lead the team for the Mundial.

“We all admit that the team did not do well at the World Cup before you say anything and so I agree with the statement by the Ghana Football Association [GFA],” the AshantiGold SC CEO said on Kessben FM.

“We all wanted to win the trophy but the expectation was that we wanted to do better compared to the last World Cup but the coach [Otto Addo]was a disappointment.

“Some of us had believed in him but we did not see what we were told. What we were told never manifested,” he added.
