All is set for the biggest showdown in Kumasi as Medeama will face Al Ahly in MD5 of the CAF Champions League.
63-year-old Swiss head coach Marcel Koller speaking ahead of the game talked about the difficulties Al Ahly has faced since arriving in Ghana.
“We faced great difficulties and we will give our utmost to achieve victory,”- said Marcel Koller.
Al Ahly requested the postponement of the clash against Medeama to Saturday.
The Red Devils complained of no flight to travel straight to Kumasi when they arrived. Medeama rejected Al Ahly’s proposal and insisted that the game be played as stipulated because Al Ahly’s players were fine.
Marcel Koller insisted the team will give its utmost best against Medeama.
30-year-old Egyptian centre-back Rami Rabia echoed his gaffer’s words by talking about how ready the players are.
“All players are focused on the match and we have a strong motivation to achieve victory,” added Ramy Rabia.
Medeama will play Al Ahly at 4 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday.
