Legon Cities Football Club’s head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin, has commended his players for their performance despite suffering a 2-1 defeat to Bibiani Gold Stars in their opening match of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The match, held in Bibiani, ended with Gold Stars securing the win, leaving Legon Cities to return to Accra without any points.
Despite the loss, Coach Fabin praised his team’s effort and performance.
In a post-match interview, Fabin expressed disappointment over the result but remained optimistic about his team’s display. “We had a good game, but it’s unfortunate we lost. We will regroup and prepare for our home game against Medeama,” he said.
Looking ahead, Legon Cities FC will face Medeama SC in their next fixture, which is expected to be a challenging encounter for the Accra-based team.
