Maxwell Konadu, the coach of Legon Cities, remains optimistic that his team will avoid relegation by the end of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
Despite a narrow defeat to Bechem United on matchday 31 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, Konadu believes Legon Cities can secure their survival.
Currently positioned 11th in the league with 40 points and three games remaining, he expressed confidence in their ability to stay in the top flight.
“We will survive, we just have to find a way. Legon Cities will overcome relegation,” Konadu affirmed.
Looking ahead, the former Kotoko coach has set his sights on securing a victory against Hearts of Oak in their upcoming fixture.
Recognizing the challenge, he emphasized the team’s determination to put up their best performance.
“We can also defeat Hearts of Oak and move forward. It’s a game where you visit someone’s home and they try their best to defeat you, so we will also strive to beat Hearts of Oak. We have no choice but to defeat Hearts of Oak,” Konadu stated with determination.
