Aduana FC head coach Yaw Acheampong has stressed the importance of character and determination for his team as they prepare for their Ghana Premier League Week 12 clash against Asante Kotoko.
In his pre-match comments, the former Ghana international highlighted that playing against the record Ghanaian champions requires a focused and resilient approach. He emphasized the need for his players to demonstrate character on the field to secure a positive result.
“We know playing Kotoko is never an easy task, and we need players with character. This is not a game for jokes; we understand the significance of the match,” Acheampong said.
“We are fully aware of what lies ahead, and the result is crucial. We are doing our best to psych up the boys and motivate them. Last season, we were able to beat them here, and we have to do it again this season.”
Aduana FC will host Kotoko at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park on Sunday, with the Fire Boys currently sitting in 8th place with 11 points. Kotoko, on the other hand, are in 6th place with 15 points.
