Joseph Tetteh Zutah, the midfielder for Medeama SC, emphasized the need for the club to strengthen their squad in order to compete effectively in the CAF Champions League next season.
Following their first-ever premier league title win last season, the Mauve and Yellow will represent Ghana in the top-tier club competition organized by CAF.
Zutah, who served the club for several years before retiring, shared his thoughts on the matter in an interview with Radio Gold Sports.
“I know that we have also learnt from our mistakes and there are certain things that we want to do right.
“Because we know what it takes to compete there, we need to have quality in the team.
Zutah further mentioned that the club plans to make quality additions to bolster the squad and enhance their chances of success in the CAF Champions League.
“Obviously we will make some quality inclusion to beef up the squad and see how best we can go.” Joseph Zutah told Radio Gold Sports.
Medeama secured the premier league title with an impressive 60 points, finishing five points ahead of two-time champions Aduana Stars after playing 34 games in the BetPawa Premier League.
