“We never say die” – Hearts of Oak’s interim coach Abdul Bashiru reacts after Kotoko defeat

Abdul Rahim Bashiru, the interim head coach of Hearts of Oak, remains optimistic about the team’s prospects and is confident they will secure a win in their upcoming match against Nations Football Club.

The Phobians faced a setback in Round 14 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, losing 3-2 to arch-rivals Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Despite the defeat, Coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru conveyed a determined outlook in a post-match interview. He emphasized that Hearts of Oak is resilient and will not give up. Bashiru outlined the team’s commitment to hard work in training, emphasizing their focus on returning to winning ways in the upcoming fixture against Nations FC.

“We never say die, so we go back and work and come back,” stated Abdul Rahim Bashiru, underlining the team’s fighting spirit and dedication to bouncing back from the recent loss.

The upcoming clash against Nations FC, scheduled for December 24, presents an opportunity for Hearts of Oak to demonstrate their resilience and determination under Coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru’s guidance.
